NPC GRANTS 24 HOUR POWER SERVICE TO BALICASAG AND PAMILACAN ISLANDS OF BOHOL
NPC launched today the 24 hour operating hours of its power plant in Pamilacan Island, Bohol as tourists keep flocking the island for dolphin watching and swimming.
Bohol Governor Edgar Chatto and the local government officials joined NPC's Visayas Operations Department team headed by Pete Lorente in the ceremonial switch on of additional generating sets that will help sustain the stable supply of electricity in the island.
In response to the growing tourism of Balicasag Marine Sanctuary and Pamilacan Island in Bohol, NPC extends its service hours in the islands from 8 hours to full 24 hours.
Leading today's ceremonial switch on of the additional 80 kW genset in Balicasag were Gov. Edgar Chatto and Panglao Mayor Leila Montero. Joining them were employees of the NPC Visayas Operations Department headed by Engr. Perfecto Lorente.
